Privacy Policy

Fam Explaining (“we”, “the app”) is an iPad mathematics whiteboard by Notafra. This policy explains what data we collect and how it is used.

Data we collect

• Whiteboard content you create (handwriting strokes, formula card values, equations, text, and diagrams), stored on your device and optionally synced via iCloud or Firebase when those features are enabled.
• If you sign in with Google or another account provider: name, email, and user ID required for authentication.
• Basic technical logs needed to operate hosting, crash diagnostics, and sync.

How we use data

Data is used solely to provide Fam Explaining — saving your whiteboards, syncing across your devices when enabled, and improving reliability. We do not sell personal data.

Storage

Local documents remain on your iPad. Cloud-backed data may be stored with Apple iCloud and/or Google Firebase (project coins-8f67a) under access controls so only your account can read or write your documents.

Screen recording

Fam Explaining does not include in-app video recording, microphone capture, or camera capture. If you use the iPad’s system screen recording, that media is controlled by Apple and is not uploaded by this app.

Deletion

You may delete documents in the app. To request deletion of cloud account data, email support@notafra.id from the email associated with your account.
