Windows 11 ARM64

Install and run Windows on Apple Silicon through QEMU + HVF, with TPM, UEFI, and VirtIO drivers.

Linux on Apple Virtualization

Use Apple’s Virtualization.framework for fast Linux guests with a native console view.

VM lifecycle in one place

Create, install, start, pause, stop, and open the console from a polished SwiftUI dashboard.

Local-first storage

VMs live in ~/Virtual Machines with persisted config, disks, and diagnostics you can copy for support.

Install Interstellaro

Distribution is direct download while the app is in early release. Gatekeeper may ask you to confirm the first launch because the build is not notarized yet.

  2. 2Drag Interstellaro into Applications.
  3. 3On first launch, right-click the app → Open if macOS blocks an unsigned build.
  4. 4For Windows guests, install QEMU + swtpm once: brew install qemu swtpm
